How Does AppZero Work?

AppZero picks up an installed application and places it into a Virtual Application Appliance (VAA) file (similar to a Virtual Appliance, minus the operating system components). The VAA sits between the application and operating system virtualizing all Windows file, registry, and services access. Because the virtualization technology is bundled within the VAA, nothing needs to be pre-installed allowing users to easily move infrastructure running on any hypervisor, bare metal server, or combination thereof to the GoGrid cloud.

AppZero's VAA is sold per GoGrid server instance and includes limited Dev/Test instances. VAA technical support is available via AppZero support contracts.
